HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna has conducted Emotional Literacy programme for the parents of students who has been receiving monthly educational assistance from the project ‘Education Support to economic crisis & war affected poor children – Funded by Caritas Korea’ on 31st of October 2023 at HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna ground hall.
Forty-five (45) parents from Kaddaikadhu, Manatkadhu, Punkuduthivu, Kudathanai, Kayts, Mandaitivu, Navanthurai and Jaffna participated.
Revd. Fr. S. Eugene Francis, Director, HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna gave the Motivational speech for the parents and how to care for their children in their education.
Mr.S.Joseph Bala, Psychosocial Regulator conducted the seminar for the parents participated in the programme. Mr. S.G.Baskaran supported him.
The programme was organized by Ms. Nithila Mariampillai, Programme Manager and supported by Ms.Dorin Kawsalaya, Finance Officer. The National Centre, SEDEC-Caritas Sri Lanka secured funds for this project for the second year from Caritas Korea. We take this opportunity to thank them.
