The Food Security team from SEDEC – Caritas Sri Lanka the national centre, Mrs.Nilani Tiseera, National Coordinator, Mr.Hershanth, Regional Coordinator, Miss.Deepthi Jeyakody, Regional Coordinator visited HUDEC – Caritas Jaffna from 18th to 19th June 2025. They discussed the progress of the project with the Director and staff, on the achievements of the Food Security Project. They visited the District Secretariat and discussed with the Government Agent Mr.M.Piratheepan about the Food Security project implemented by HUDEC – Caritas Jaffna. They also visited Farmers, Preschool children, school children and Person with Disabled (PwDs)’ Vegetable farms/gardens and gave a piece of information to improve their farms/ gardens.
