HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna has organised one day Seminar for the children and their parents/guardian on the 21st of September 2019 at HUDEC-Caritas Hall under the project ‘Educational Support for War Affected Children.
HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna has selected 59 war affected children from the District of Jaffna with the support of the Parish Priests and School Principals. The selected students are studying in Grade 8, 9, 10, 11 and G.C.E. A/L (2021). Mr. Aravinthan, Director, Aquanus College, Jaffna conducted the seminar. He guided the students to identify the suitable time for their studies, studying methods and the importance of the education through the Power Point presentation. He also guided the parents/guardians how to support and encourage their children to concentrate on studies well. 59 students and their parents/guardians participated in the seminar. Bank account books also opened for each student.
Educational Support for War Affected Children project is funded by Caritas Korea through the National Centre SEDEC-Caritas Sri Lanka and implemented by HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna.
