The above project was in a selected a resettlement area a Varuthalivilan J/241 GS division in Tellipalai DS division. Forty seven beneficiaries were selected for livelihood assistance under poverty level people. They were provided six months skill training in livelihood assistance by the relevant resource person.
A Livelihood support programme organized by HUDEC Caritas on 17th May2019, 3.00pm at Tellipalai DS office. This programme was presided by Revd.Fr.S.Eugene Francis, Director, Caritas HUDEC Jaffna and handed over the cheques to the beneficiaries, amounting 2,200,000.00(2.2 million).

- Repair work – 01
Then Revd.Fr.Eugene Francis, Director of Caritas HUDEC Jaffna said that the members of Unity Life Association” need to work together in the society to improve the economy. Mr.Shivasri, Divisional Secretary, Tellipalai has expressed his gratitude to the Director, Caritas HUDEC Jaffna for selecting this village in his area.
Divisional Secretary, Economic Development Officer, Grama Niladhari, Samurthi Officer and Caritas HUDEC staff also participated in this programme.
