“Addressing Causes for Poverty and Ensuring Food Security for Farming Communities” Project

HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna, under the guidance of Revd. Fr. S. Eugene Francis, Director; has selected seven schools in Tellipalai DS Division for the Food Security project.  The selected schools are:

1. Kulamankal RC Vidyalayam
2. Mallagam Maha Vidyalayam
3. Veemankamam Maha Vidyalayam
4. Arunothaya College
5. Vasavilan Central College
6. Arunachchalam Vidyalayam
7. Tellipalai Saivapragasam Vidyalayam

The selected schools have been given seedlings and agricultural tools worth Rs.192,500/- under this project. The Food Security Programme is funded by Caritas Norway and NORAD, through the National Centre, Caritas Sri Lanka-SEDEC and implemented by 13 Diocesan Centres in Sri Lanka.
