HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna has conducted an empowerment seminar “Preschool teachers are the changing forces” for the preschool teachers and primary teachers at Delft on 22nd of February 2019, Friday at 4.00 p.m. Mr. S.G.Baskaran, Coordinator of Peace & Reconciliation programme presided over the seminar. Revd. Fr. S. Eugene Francis, Director, HUDEC-Caritas Jaffna indicated in his speech that “spirituality is a search and your search is a mission. It can be witnessed when a pupils are formed well as a consequence of your mission. Your dedicated service is praise worthy and priceless”.
Mr.Joseph Bala, Resource person conducted some activities to bring out the talents of the teachers. The teachers reviewed their past experience, trainings and shared their views with one another. Twenty teachers participated in this seminar. This programme was conducted under the Healing and Reconciliation programme funded by MISEREOR & Caritas Australia through the National Centre, SEDEC-Caritas Sri Lanka.
